Learn Language with Audio ("the app") lets you import audio lesson files you already own and play them back with progress tracking. This policy explains what happens to your data.
When you import a folder or archive of audio lessons, the app copies or reads those files locally on your device only. It never uploads them anywhere, and it has no server to upload them to. Playback happens entirely offline.
Which lessons you've listened to, how far into each one you got, your playback speed, and your other settings are all stored locally on your device. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server — this data is never sent anywhere and we never see it. Uninstalling the app deletes it.
The app shows ads served by Google AdMob, an advertising partner. To serve and measure those ads, AdMob collects device identifiers (such as your advertising ID), coarse location, and app-interaction data. This is the only data collection in the app, and it comes entirely from the AdMob SDK — the app itself makes no network calls of its own.
Google's own privacy policy explains what it collects and how it's used: https://policies.google.com/privacy . You can see and manage AdMob's data practices at https://www.google.com/settings/ads .
If you are in the EEA, the UK, or another region where consent is required, you'll be asked to choose whether ads can be personalised the first time you open the app. You can change that choice at any time from Settings → Privacy settings inside the app.
On iOS, the app also asks for App Tracking Transparency permission before showing personalised ads, in line with Apple's requirements. Declining it does not affect anything else in the app.
The app offers an optional one-time "Remove ads" purchase. Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store, depending on your device. The app never sees or stores your payment details — it only receives confirmation of what you bought.
The app requests permission to read audio files on your device (and, on iOS, access to your media library) solely so you can pick files to import. It does not read any files you don't explicitly select, and it never scans your device in the background.
The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a new "Last updated" date.
